ITENS – Een persoon is maandagavond overleden nadat deze te water is geraakt aan de Hearedyk bij Itens.
Rond 23:45 uur ontdekten buurtbewoners een persoon te water en alarmeerden de hulpdiensten. Twee ambulances, politie, brandweer en een traumahelikopter zijn opgeroepen om hulp te bieden. De persoon is door hulpdiensten uit het water gehaald en gereanimeerd, maar dit mocht niet meer baten. De persoon is ter plaatse overleden.
De oorzaak hoe de persoon te water raakte is niet bekend, de Forensische Opsporing doet onderzoek naar het incident.
