GOENGA – De hulpdiensten zijn zaterdagmiddag opgeroepen voor een stuurloos bootje nabij de Aldfeartsdyk. Een opvarende bleek mogelijk onderkoeld op het bootje te zitten.
Rond 14:00 uur zijn de hulpdiensten uitgerukt naar de locatie waar de man met zijn boot lag. De boot van de man bleek volgens de persvoorlichter van de brandweer stuurloos te zijn geraakt. De motor had het begeven en de man op de boot, de enige opvarende, gaf aan het erg koud te hebben. Het is niet duidelijk hoe lang de man hier al rond dobberde met zijn boot.
Gezien de koude temperaturen buiten zijn een ambulance en de brandweer naar de locatie gestuurd. Na contact met de man is de brandweer met waadpakken het water in gegaan om de boot naar de kant te slepen met een touw. De opvarende is hierna opgevangen door ambulancepersoneel en behandeld in de ambulance. Na behandeling is de man overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis.
