SNEEK – Meerdere bewoners van woningen aan de Gudsekop hebben woensdagavond geklaagd over een stinkende lucht in de woningen en in de straat.
De brandweer is rond 22:00 uur gealarmeerd voor de stank. Volgens de bewoners van meerdere woningen is een sterke geur van spiritus/ammoniak waargenomen. Om de oorzaak en de exacte locatie te achterhalen is de brandweer op onderzoek gegaan in de omgeving en de straat.
Hierbij worden onder andere verschillende leidingen onderzocht in de grond. Hoe ze lopen, wat voor soort leidingen het zijn en waar ze precies lopen.
De adviseur gevaarlijke stoffen van de brandweer heeft diverse metingen uitgevoerd maar geen te hoge waardes waargenomen.
De gemeente is eveneens ter plekke gekomen.
De brandweer heeft het riool doorgespoeld om zo de stank weg te krijgen.
